Act UP!
Ages 5-12 (Kinder to 6th grade)
Creativity and fun are at the heart of our Junior level program, where students explore the basics of acting through theater games, scene and character development, movement, improv, and more. As they continue to build their acting skills, they focus more deeply on character and scene work. Act UP! students also have the opportunity to develop leadership abilities and begin learning the fundamentals of directing.
Meets on most Mondays from 6:00pm-7:15pm.
TAG
Ages 10-18 (5th - 12th grade)
For ages 10-12 (5th/6th grade) we recommend at least one semester of Act Up! or previous theater experience before enrolling in TAG.
(Advanced level for teens that branches out into all areas off-stage as well)
Whether they're new to acting or experienced performers, youth in our TAG (Teen Actors Guild) program will have the chance to refine their skills in a comprehensive, hands-on environment. TAG covers a wide range of disciplines, including acting, team-building, technical theatre, design, and writing, giving students the opportunity to explore and discover their unique artistic strengths and passions.
Meets on most Thursdays from 6:00m-8:00pm. Extra rehearsals as needed in the weeks leading up to a production; “tech week” is nightly rehearsals the week of the production.
OxyMorons
Ages 10-18 (5th - 12th grade)

BVT's busiest performing group, The Oxymorons (aka "The Kings & Queens of Clean Cut Comedy"), boasts a rich and hilarious history of comedic performances. With over two decades of experience, they've built and maintained a stellar reputation, performing not only in Aggieland but also at numerous venues across Texas.
Meets on most Sundays from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
Oxymorons have LOL shows monthly (Friday & Saturday), kids may choose which shows to participate in. There is no class the Sunday after shows.
Glee
Ages 10-18 (5th - 12th grade)
For ages 10-12 (5th/6th grade) we recommend at least one semester of Act Up! or previous theater experience before enrolling in Glee.
(Song & dance ensemble)
The official song and dance arm of BVT, showcases the creative talents of musical theatre through dynamic performances of iconic musical theatre pieces, pop hits, and more. Drawing from the rich history of the genre, Glee brings to life the works of legendary composers like Andrew Lloyd Webber and Rodgers & Hammerstein. Whether performing in-house or around town, Glee celebrates the art of song and dance with energy and passion, captivating audiences with every show.
