Act UP!
Ages 5-12 (Kinder to 6th grade)
Creativity and fun are at the heart of our junior level program. Act Up! students explore the basics of acting through theater games, scene and character development, improv, and more. As students continue to build their acting skills, they also learn the basic theater terminology and rules for working on-stage and backstage.
Advanced students may also have the opportunity to develop their leadership abilities and writing and directing skills.
The semester will end with a Class Showcase performance.
Meets on most Mondays from 6:00pm-7:15pm.

Super TROUPE
Ages 10-18 (5th - 12th grade)
For ages 10-12 (5th/6th grade) we recommend at least one semester of Act Up! or previous theater experience before enrolling in Super TROUPE.

Formally two separate classes (Glee & TAG) have been combined to form one SUPER class for all TROUPE productions. From singing, dancing, acting, directing, tech, costumes, on stage or off, this class gives students a chance to refine their skills in a comprehensive, hands-on environment.
Super TROUPE covers a wide range of disciplines, including musical theatre, acting, team-building, technical theatre, design, and writing, giving students the opportunity to explore and discover their unique artistic strengths and passions. Students will be able to sign up for various on & off stage roles for each of the three productions this semester. Auditions will occur for specific solos, songs, or acting roles.
Meets on most Sundays from 3:30-5:30
Extra Tuesday & Thursday rehearsals as needed for each production; “Tech Week” is nightly rehearsals the week of the production. Optional/ come & go work days as needed. Semester calendar available.

OxyMorons
Ages 10-18 (5th - 12th grade)

Our Historic and Epic Improv Team - BVT's busiest performing group, The Oxymorons (aka "The Kings & Queens of Clean Cut Comedy"), boasts a rich and hilarious history of comedic performances. With over two decades of experience, they've built and maintained a stellar reputation for making people Laugh Out Loud.
Improv students can learn many important life skills such as thinking on your feet, performing calmly under pressure, problem solving, leadership, public speaking, public relations, and team building.
Oxymorons have LOL shows one weekend a month, students may choose which shows to participate in. There is no class the Sunday after shows.
Meets on most Sundays from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
